The F40 is a car built by Ferrari from 1987 to 1992. It was the last car personally approved by Enzo Ferrari before his death in 1988.
In 1984, Ferrari wanted to build a car based on the 288 GTO to compete against the Porsche 959 in FIA Group B. However, the FIA decided to put an end to the Group B series in 1986, and Ferrari was left with a few 288 GTO Evoluzione prototypes. Enzo Ferrari decided that the car should be reworked into a supercar designed for road use, and the Ferrari F40 was born.
It was added in The Crew as the Summit reward for May and June 2016. It is available in Perf and Circuit specs, with the Circuit spec being the F40 LM.
