The 2010 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG (C197) is a German two-door grand tourer sports car manufactured by Mercedes-Benz. It is the successor to the SLR McLaren and in spirit, the Mercedes 300SL Gullwing as well.
Most of the body is handcrafted in aluminuim consisting of a super light build. The famous gullwing doors pay homage to the 300SL. A self deploying rear spoiler extends at high speeds to better handling, stability and braking.
Under the hood, the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG (C197) comes equipped with a 6.2L V8 engine codenamed M159 developing 571 horsepower at 6,800 revolutions per minute. Production of the vehicle ceased in 2014 with a total of 2,733 units produced.
In 2011, a racecar version of the SLS, the AMG GT3 was also in production.
The Crew
The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG (C197) was first featured in the first installment of The Crew. It is featured in perf. and circut specs. The vehicle can be purchased from the Los Angeles car dealer in California with either 558,000 bucks or with 123,987 crew credits.
The Crew 2
The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG (C197) returned to The Crew 2 with its main stock model listed as a Street Race and is only available as such, however, the racecar version of the SLS AMG, the GT3 version is also present as a touring car. The SLS AMG (C197) can be purchased with either 368,200 or with 52,600.
